Creative MUA Awards 2026 | Now Open
Proudly Sponsored and Managed by Ourselves Here at Girl Meets Brush
How the Creative Make-Up Artist Awards Work
The Creative MUA Awards are all about Creativity, Experimentation & Pushing your Skills.
You don’t need to be a creative or SFX specialist to take part either - we love seeing how MUAs from all backgrounds and experience levels interpret the same brief in completely different ways.
The Awards are held completely online, making them open and accessible to make-up artists wherever you are based.
Submissions are Professionally Judged, with no public voting - your work is recognised for its creativity, interpretation of the brief, skill and overall presentation, not the size of your following.
All entrants receive Feedback & Support, with Category Winners & Runner Ups progressing as Finalists to our Guest Industry Expert Judges.
From there, we’ll award Overall 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place, Highly Commended, Rising Star & Dedication Awards.
Most importantly, the Awards are open to MUAs at all levels - from emerging artists building confidence to experienced professionals looking to push their creativity and skills even further. ✨
Our 5 Creative MUA Awards Categories for this year are - ‘Reflection & Shine’, ‘Inspired by an Icon’, ‘Elements’, ‘Past Reimagined’ & Fine Detail - Five unique briefs designed to inspire creativity & challenge your skills!
This allows us to judge each image fairly alongside similar types of work.
